My name is Sondra Julian and I am a mother sending her son off to war for the first time. Many people ask me if I am afraid that he may be killed in Iraq and my response is, "Of course, I'm terrified, for all of the soldiers. But my main concern is not as much with his safety, as it is with his mental health condition upon his return."

With Operation 15 for 15, our goal is for 130,000 people to donate $15 - that's only 1 dollar for each month a soldier is deployed, to sponsor a HERO who is stationed in harm's way. These troops are giving 15 months of their lives to protect our freedom - surely you can give 25¢ a week to insure their restored mental health once they return.

With 130,000 people giving simply $15, this one campaign alone will generate $1,950,000! Just think about how many HEROS could be assured the free mental health care they may need when returning home to their families and communities.
